The moment I walked into the salon on Friday for my extension maintenance, my first thought was: “I need to film this.” 😭✨
I honestly cannot put into words how beautiful this salon is. It feels unreal that a place this gorgeous, professional, and welcoming actually exists. 🤍
And now the most important part: I am OBSESSED with hair extensions. I’ve had tape-in extensions done in Romania, Belgium, and other places, and to be completely honest, I was traumatized. Every maintenance appointment meant pain, discomfort, and stress.
At Brush Amsterdam? Absolutely nothing. 😭 I didn’t feel any pain at all. Not even a little bit. The time went by so fast that I honestly wished I could stay longer. 😂
You are all so talented that now you’re making me want another set of extensions and even an AirTouch transformation. 🙈 I’m so curious about it because I trust you completely. At the same time, I still want my natural hair to grow because it has never looked this healthy.
For anyone who is afraid that extensions will ruin their hair: extensions are not the problem. The salon you choose is. When you’re in the right hands, your hair can stay healthy, beautiful, and strong.

Hair-wise, this was a great experience, the result was absolutely gorgeous and I am very happy with how it turned out.
However, I was less satisfied with the overall service. First, I had been told that my appointment would be with Brian, but in reality it alternated between him and another colleague. This is not necessarily an issue in itself, but it would be helpful to inform clients in advance if more than one person will be involved. Some people may have sensory sensitivities (or similar concerns) and need time to feel comfortable being attended to by a single person, so being passed from one stylist to another may not feel neutral.
The main issue, however, was the timing. It seemed that more clients were booked than could be handled efficiently, resulting in long waiting periods between each step. I could clearly see multiple clients, including myself, being parked in between steps, which led to significant downtime. If the salon is currently understaffed, it is up to the saloon to make sure the client doesn't pay the price, accepting fewer bookings.
In total, I spent about six hours in the salon and had to cancel other commitments. Had the process been more continuous, this could likely have been reduced to five hours or less. Considering the cost (around 1100) it is a significant, luxury investment, and one expects a service experience that reflects that. At that price point, I would expect a more dedicated, streamlined service, ideally with one stylist handling most of the appointment.
Overall, while the final result was excellent, the service delivery did not meet the expectations associated with the price.
Afgelopen zaterdag ben ik bij Brush geweest om mijn haar te laten verven en ik ben zó tevreden met het resultaat! 😍 Er werd echt goed geluisterd naar wat ik wilde en het is uiteindelijk nog mooier geworden dan ik had verwacht. De service was super vriendelijk en professioneel, ik voelde me meteen op m’n gemak. Echt een aanrader als je op zoek bent naar een kapper die de tijd voor je neemt en topkwaliteit levert. Ik kom hier zeker terug! ✨
